Michael S. Maloney, MFS

Michael S. Maloney is retired from federal service where he served as a Special Agent with the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) and as the Senior Instructor for Death Investigations and Sex Crimes at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC).

 

Michael offers seminars, training courses, consultation and expert witness services in criminal and civil judicial proceedings.  He is a noted expert, author and practitioner in the investigation and analysis of crime scenes, death scenes and forensic reconstructions.

​

His work has been highlighted in episodes of The New Forensic Detective, Case Files of the Real Life NCIS, 48 Hours and the documentary House 2, Haditha.

​

Michael is the author of Death Scene Investigation Procedural Guide, 1st and 2nd Edition and Crime Scene Investigation Procedural Guide both published by CRC Press.
